History
SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ is for teens and young adults, and
it focuses on enhancing the body, mind, & spirit.
This magazine is electronically based with currently two major advertising
components:
1. Website.
The website features new, free articles on a regular basis in order to
attract new website guests and obtain repeat website users.
Ads
may be placed on certain webpages within the website, depending on the
needs of the advertiser.
2. E-mail
magazine newsletter. The e-mail
magazine newsletter is filled with stories from various authors, but largely the
content is created for teens and young adults by teens and young adults.
It focuses on enhancing the body, mind, & spirit. This is a free
service to individuals who are mostly between the ages of 13 and
25. Currently, our reader base is
largely female. Most of them are
also in the 16 to 22 year range. Most of those over 18 have chosen to
pursue an education after high school.
Since the third component of our website,
SYM On-line, is currently being updated, ads are not placed in it at this
time. You may want to check back or e-mail us regarding future advertising
opportunities in that component.
With such a large group of people receiving the e-mail
magazine newsletter, and many more signing up each day, the future of SIMPLY YOU Magazine™
is quite cheerful!
Advertising Benefits
•
Only five to ten ads are allowed per month
on SIMPLY YOU Magazine™’s
website and in each issue of SYM On-line and e-mail magazine
newsletter. The ads placed in
SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ are certain to get noticed because they will not get
“lost” in the magazine, overlooked because of a large amount of exhaustive,
attention-grabbing ads. Ads are
displayed in places where they will be noticed, either at the top of web pages, at the top portion of e-mail messages or
imbedded in or around articles.
• Technology is handled in-house.
If you do not currently have a
website and you advertise with SIMPLY YOU Magazine™, for an additional charge
of $50, SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ will set up a webpage on our website for your
company. Your ad will be linked to
this webpage. A picture of your
product, its description, any promotions, and pricing information will be
featured there, along with important contact information (such as telephone
numbers, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, etc.)
The webpage will be active for the duration of your advertising campaign.
We will customize a webpage that is beneficial and acceptable to both the
advertiser and SIMPLY YOU Magazine™. (If
the webpage is rather extensive, other charges may apply.

Customer service is friendly and
prompt.
Each advertiser receives a response within 48 hours of their e-mail
inquiry (except under rare conditions). By
doing so, SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ can respond suddenly to changes or needs that
may arise with certain advertising campaigns.
•
Ads are placed in the magazine promptly.
As long as an advertiser gets their ad and payment to SIMPLY YOU Magazine™
a week before the first of each month, their ad will be included in the upcoming
month’s e-mail magazine newsletter. Ads
can be placed onto the website at any time.
Some other magazines require a lead time of a few weeks to a few months.
SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ offers a large amount of flexibility.
•
Promotional offers may be used.
Promotional offers with SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ offer more exposure for
the advertiser’s product or service. The
product or service may be mentioned in articles in SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ or
through contests sponsored jointly by the advertiser and SIMPLY YOU Magazine™.
One profitable idea involves placing our name, SIMPLY YOU Magazine™,
somewhere on your website. We will
offer a gift (chosen by SIMPLY YOU Magazine™) to the first 25 (or some amount
of people) who e-mail us stating where they found our name on your website.
This gives our website visitors an incentive to visit your website.
Something of interest may catch their eye at your website and they may
make a purchase. The goal is to get
them to your website to learn about your product or service.
•
The magazine-e-mail newsletter mainly
attracts 13 to 25 year old individuals.
Targeting this young, large segment of the population will attract new
consumers who are more likely to stay with the advertised product or service
they first use.
• An
affiliate program is offered to defray advertising costs.
The advertiser may choose to receive money or advertising credits for
each electronic magazine (12-month) subscription to SIMPLY YOU Magazine™ that
it generates. The amount
received is $2.00 per subscription. (Check

The content and ads placed in SIMPLY YOU
Magazine™ are “wholesome” and value-oriented.
The image of the advertised product will remain intact, because it will
be surrounded by content and other ads that are “wholesome.”
• An
innovative approach to attracting new customers is used. SIMPLY YOU Magazine™
attracts those who are busy and may not have time to physically go to a store to
learn about a product or service. The
on-line ads provide these busy consumers with the information they want when
they want it.
• Advertising
rates are inexpensive.
Our ad prices are generally 3 cents or less (depending on your customized
ad campaign) for each of your
potential customers, unlike other on-line rates that can be about 5 cents or
more per
potential customer. SIMPLY YOU
Magazine™ offers four advertising options:

4. If the costs, (as listed
above), of sending to all our readers is greater than you currently want to
invest, the total cost
can be reduced.--We can place your ad in our e-mail magazine newsletter and send
it to a percentage of current readers, as agreed upon by your company and SIMPLY
YOU Magazine™. (For example, sending to 50% of our readers would
only cost you $150 for one month.) We will customize your ad to your company's needs.

This price break offers

or text link on our website, plus a text link and a brief
website/product/service description in our e-mail magazine newsletter.
The ad will be displayed each consecutive month until the ad campaign has
expired.
